Wanted: Buddie Biographers!

Hey all! So for a while now I’ve had a lot of questions of how to help RBP if you do not knit/crochet and can’t afford to donate toward our shipping funds. So I’m happy to announce a new way!

I have been realizing that what is slowing me down in processing buddies is writing the unique story that goes with each buddie. Do not get me wrong, I love doing it, and think it’s an important part of RBP, however if I had some help it would really speed things up. So I’m excited to open up 3-5 volunteer positions (depending on the number of applications) :).

Details:
We are looking for 3-5 people who are excited about the RBP and what we do. Your job as a Buddie Biographer would be simple: Look at photos of buddies we send you and give them a name and story. We ask that you write a minimum of 3-5 buddies stories a week (if you want to go over 5, that’s fine too!).

This position does not involve mailing buddies or answering emails (at least for now). We might ask for your help with other tasks in the future.

What you’ll get for your hard work:
  • Access to a staff only site where we can talk about new ideas, and inside information to RB. You’ll get to know about cool new things we’ll be doing before everyone else does.
  •   The knowledge that you’re helping others in recovery in a big way.
  • You’ll be able to call yourself a Recovery Buddies Team member! How cool is that?
  • And our gratitude, seriously.

So are you still interested? Apply HERE by midnight (EST), October 10th
