Meet Ashley!

Ashley loves to cook. She likes to watch cooking shows on TV and try to copy the recipes. She will cook pretty much anything. Ashley is very brave and protective of her friends. She is very loving and is a very good listener. She likes to have fun doing silly things and is not easily embarrassed in public. Ashley is very good at being herself. She tends to rub off on others and bring out the best in everybody.

Meet Justina!

Justina is very brave and takes lots of risks. She is very energetic and has a great imagination. Her favorite movie is Despicable Me and she identifies most with Agnes because she loves unicorns, too. Justina sings in the shower all the time and doesn't really care who hears her. Sometimes, when Justina gets scared, she will sing to herself to help her stay brave. She loves to tell jokes, however they often aren't that funny. It might be a good idea to get her a joke book. Justina loves to give hugs and is a very good listener.

Meet Charlotte

Charlotte has an outgoing, bubbly personality. She speaks French fluently and likes listening to French music. Charlotte is not easily persuaded and will always stands up for what she believes is right. She is very courageous. (Except when it comes to snakes. She's not very courageous around snakes. They scare her.) Charlotte loves to read and her favorite author is Janet Evanovich.

Meet Rosemarie!!

Rosemarie LOVES flowers.  Especially roses.  Her favorite season is spring and during that time you can usually find her in the garden tending to her huge flower garden.  She is also a great baker, and loves to make goodies.  Rosemarie is super outgoing and loves to talk.  She will talk your ear off if you let her!  She is a super sweet buddie, but she hates conflict.  Rosemarie's favorite movie is Steel Magnolias.  She loves hugs and loves to cuddle.

Meet Robert

Robert is very cheery and loves to sing and dance. He also likes to write a lot. His favorite bird is the cardinal because it stands out from all the others. Robert is very helpful and smart. He is willing to try new things and loves to meet new people.

Help!--A call to all knitters (and crocheters)

Apparently our advertising department (which doesn't even exist) has been a little too effective--we have over 350 people on our waiting list! People are hearing about it from websites, newsletters, friends, Facebook, even counselors and treatment centers! We are only three knitters, and we're not always able to crank them out as fast as we would like...not all of us knit at the same speed, sometimes life happens and something gets in the way, etc. So this is a call out to all you capable knitters and crocheters (is that a word?) who have a little extra time on your hands and would like to help us out by knitting a buddie or two...or more! :)  There is a link on our blog (it's http://recoverybuddies.blogspot.com/2008/10/those-interested-in-knitting-buddies.html for those of you who want to jump right to it!) for anyone who wants to help make a buddie.
